FIREARMS PROHIBITING CATEGORIES

State and federal law make it unlawful for certain persons to own and/or possess firearms, including:

• Any person who has been convicted of, or has an outstanding warrant for, a felony under the laws of the United States, the State of San Andreas, or any other state, government, or country.

• Any person who has been convicted of an offense enumerated in Penal Code titles 1 and 6, or who is ordered to not possess firearms as a condition of probation or other court order.

• Any person who is found by a court to be a danger to himself, herself, or others because of a mental illness, who is found by a court to be mentally incompetent to stand trial, any person who is found by a court to be not guilty by reason of insanity, any person who is adjudicated to be a mentally disordered sex offender, or any person who is addicted to narcotics.

• Any person who has been discharged from the military under dishonorable conditions (federal)

• Any person who is an illegal alien (federal)

• Any person who has renounced his or her US Citizenship (federal)

• Any person who is a fugitive from justice (federal)

MISDEMEANORS

Convictions of, or outstanding warrants for, a misdemeanor violation of any the offenses listed below will generally result in a firearm prohibition for ten years. All statutory references are to the California Penal Code, unless otherwise indicated.

• A person who intentionally puts another in the reasonable belief of imminent physical harm or offensive contact. (Pen. Code, § (1)02.)

• A person who uses intentional and unlawful force or violence to cause physical harm to another person. (Pen. Code, § (1)05.)

• Intentionally and maliciously following or harassing another person who has made it known that they do not consent to such following or harassment, or any person who violates an official restraining order issued by a court. (Pen. Code, § (3)10.)

• A civilian who possesses any prohibited weapon that is illegal in possession or not considered part of any legal weapon type. (Pen. Code, § (9)01.)

• A civilian who carries a legal, but unlicensed weapon on their person, in their vehicle, place of business, or other facility without proper permits, or a person who knowingly and willingly allows another person to carry a weapon on their person, in their vehicle, place of business, or other facility without proper permits. (Pen. Code, § (9)02.)

• A person who fires a firearm without a valid reason regardless of registration status or legality. (Pen. Code, § (9)11.)

(( OUT OF CHARACTER ))

(( Any player that died in a shootout with a law enforcement faction, or any player that engages in a shootout with the same entity during the application process. ))

(( Any player who applies for a PF License with a character which is not level 5, or any player who applies for a CCW License with a character which is not level 8; global level is NOT to be considered. ))

(( Any player who received administrative punishments for deathmatch, poor reason to kill, robbery crews, power-gaming, any police-related activity (quitting to avoid arrest, cop-baiting etcetera), trolling, unrealistic (and sub-par roleplay), refusing to (and/or avoiding) roleplay or provoking during the past 2 months. ))

(( Any player whose license was revoked on any character in the past 14 days. ))
